Tahoma

As many say “West Shore is the Best Shore” and Tahoma is its center.  Tourists have been visiting this west shore location for many years for its azure Tahoe shoreline, majestic old growth trees and green fern carpets, easy access to Desolation Wilderness, Sugar Pine Point State Park, Meeks Bay Resort, and Tahoe National Forest.  Homewood Ski Area is just down the street.  Tahoma is a favorite among outdoor recreation enthusiasts for good reason.

Tahoma is comprised of many neighborhoods with Chamberlands being one of the more desirable. Its HOA gives homeowners access to a private beach at Chambers Landing as well as to a pier, buoys, swimming pool and tennis courts. Tahoe Cedars also is a desirable neighborhood offering a variety of real estate options. Its HOA is optional. For a small fee, homeowners can enjoy a beautiful sandy beach, pier, and buoy access.

Tahoma real estate ranges from the mid $300K for small cabins up to $2M for high-end custom homes. Lakefronts start at $4M.
